Charles Kofi Asense

Charles Kofi Asense holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration (Accounting Option) and a Master’s degree in Finance both from the University of Ghana Business School. His professional education begun with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) after passing all qualifying examinations in November 2011. Aside being a Chartered Accountant, he is both a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Charles is skilled in performing varying internal audit engagements, inter alia, reviewing governance, risk management and control systems for design and operating effectiveness and continuous monitoring of high-risk business activities. Prior to his internal audit career, he worked in public practice for four (4) years performing statutory and project audits. Charles is well-versed in the use of many audit analytics, data visualization and information security tools for assurance and advisory.
