SIS&L launches its Wa Branch

The Wa branch of Services Integrity Savings and Loans Ltd. (SIS&L) was launched on July 11, 2024, at the 10 Mechanized Battalion in Wa, Upper West Region. The branch was commissioned by Brigadier General Frank Nartey Tei, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Northern Command, on behalf of Rear Admiral Seth Amoama, former Chief of the Defense Staff of the Ghana Armed Forces.

In his guest-of-honour speech, Brigadier General Frank Nartey Tei praised SIS&L for the dedication and vision shown by the construction of the new branch. He noted that SIS&L, now opening its 8th branch, has shown resilience despite industry challenges.
Emphasizing SIS&L’s values of integrity, professionalism, and innovation, he encouraged the Board and Management of SIS&L to develop products and services that meet their clients’ specific needs. “It is my fervent hope that SIS&L will flourish and become a leading financial institution in Ghana, contributing significantly to the socio-economic well-being of our personnel and the nation at large.” he said.

In her speech, CEO Mrs. Lydia Maku Daddy highlighted SIS&L’s journey since its establishment on December 1, 2016, and the importance of opening the new Wa branch. She noted that SIS&L was founded to meet the financial needs of the Ghana Armed Forces and has consistently grown and innovated. The company offers tailored banking products such as Mission Deployment Advance (MDA), Loan Refinancing, Personal Loans, Fixed Deposits, and more.

Mrs. Daddy emphasized SIS&L’s strong corporate governance, solid capital base, and support from the Military High Command as key factors in the company’s success. She reaffirmed SIS&L’s commitment to meeting customer financial needs with competitive rates and excellent customer service, operating under strict regulations to ensure security and compliance. She called for continued support from military personnel, praised the dedication of SIS&L’s staff, and acknowledged the sacrifices of Ghana Armed Forces personnel. She concluded by reaffirming SIS&L’s dedication to serving its customers and striving for excellence.

Also present at the event were the Commanding Officer, 10 Mechanized Battalion – Lieutenant Colonel Godfred Asampong and Senior Officers, Officers, Soldiers and Civilian Employees of GAF.
